    The ship Mayflower sailed a lot and founded several cities in America.

    That was definitely not positive news for the indigenous people.

      I’d blame that on the settlers rather than the vessel.

      PS. You do not want to see the bad news from 1620.

          Nor sail itself, etc. In fact, I’ve never heard anyone single out the actual vessel as noteworthy.

            The only thing I can remember ever hearing about the Mayflower was that it delivered beer before it took the Pilgrim Fathers to the New World, so the whole ship reeked of stale beer the whole time.

            Must have been fun.

              I’ll take stale beer over bacteria-laden water!

              Edit: also, probably not the worst smell in that ship. I can’t imagine those people were well-perfumed even before they sailed for months
