“Eyes on the video” is usually dependent on the thumbnail, not the actual content.
If anything I think it probably would have gotten more eyes if it came off as a viable alternative.
TIL any video thats ever gotten popular or viral was thanks entirely and 100% due to the thumbnail and not at all due to the content.
