It’s a shame they don’t embrace federation and open source more, the drama it would create would be fun at least.
They’re trying to build their own segregated social media community. I think federation is literally the last thing they want to do.
If you want drama, then federate with Threads 🤷
nah, there are plenty of truth wannabes (freeze peach bigotry safe havens) that actively federate. just look at literally any competent server’s blocked instances list and you’ll see a few examples. there’s a reason why nobody* runs completely open federation

No no, Truth Social doesn’t need to federate. They want it to pushing it’s source code as AGPL legally obligates it to.
