Australia doesn’t even have that many officers in total, “only” 65,000.
However, it turns out that the USA appears to have less police officers per head of population when compared to Australia.

And 85,001 officers were found to not be at a fault during the investigations, which were conducted by same agencies each officer belonged to.
If you don’t get investigated, you’re not doing your job. /s

Ed: like 8.3% were investigated of nearly 10% get investigated and like 5% don’t get fired you’re either getting a bunch of false complaints or you’re ignoring evidence. Given what we know about policing in this country I’m gunna go with the latter.
