Unfortunately, I believe so. I’ve definitely met people dumb and apologist enough to say it, but this is the internet, where nothing is certain and everyone is a dog behind the keyboard.

Some people really think that black people are like cats and dogs, and if white people didn’t give em a job and something to eat, they’d just wander around in rags.

Probably doesn’t help that for generations they were denied home ownership, fair jobs, and solicitation of businesses that white people operated.
