Is it a surprise if it’s two months in advance and around the same time every Pixel has been launched?

So, the Kindle OS is really basic.
If you’re able to jailbreak, look at installing KUAL and KOReader and that should change your experience enough to not need an entire new OS.
Kindle Fire was the original name of Amazons Android tablets. They later became just “Fire Tablets” and dropped Kindle from the name.
You’re seeing a lot about flashing the Kindle Fire because they still come without Google apps installed and some users believe that makes them very hamstrung. A custom ROM like LineageOS makes it a “real” Android tablet.
You can buy a Cummins crate engine for $10,000. Assuming that’s a large markup compared to the negotiated amount I’m sure the vehicle manufacturers got, I would bet they’re being fined around 20 percent of what they made off of selling the engines to manufacturers.
Probably not enough to kill the company, but definitely enough to make them think twice on doing it again (almost like what fines should be….).
Obviously horrible and everything……. But why dough?
There’s a clip that regularly goes around the internet of an astronaut doing something like drinking a glass of water and they just let it go and are shocked when it drops. I’m sure the same thing happens in space when they set something down and not perfectly still and it kind of floats away.
Yes, because everyone knows how the more popular things get, the cheaper they become.
It’s some kind dumbass idea that AI won’t be trained with the comment now. Because you know, billion dollar companies ALWAYS follow the rules.
I think it’s kind of like those 3D pictures where if you let your eyes unfocus and then slowly refocus, both images line up. I did it and it’s really weird since the colors are so different, but it looks like two images of hotdogs, one on top of the other.
Holy shit I’m an idiot.
I just realized it’s comic as in books and not comic as in funny.
I still randomly see myssid 4 (or some other random number) on Windows 11 with no explanation.
I think purchasing a public company and promising a donation are two different things.
As a Kansan, don’t you dare put that evil on us!
Dual booting Windows XP and Ubuntu 12.04 on my parents desktop.
I broke the boot loader so many times that my mom learned what GRUB was just so she was sure she could yell at me and it wasn’t just our ancient desktop finally dying.
I would bet that they aren’t losing as much money as other companies would. Valve made their own OS for the Steam Deck. Asus and Lenovo made similar devices, but they both run Windows and have to pay Microsoft licensing fees.
It’ll be really interesting if Valve opens up a partner program with other OEMs to allow things like firmware updates through SteamOS on more devices than just the Deck. I think then, we’d see $500 or less competing consoles to the Deck.
So they could use a normal sized eraser, duh.
Yeah, I see both parts of this.
BOOX advertises “Super Refresh” which makes eink almost able to play a YouTube video. There’s a lot of software (and probably hardware) development there.
Google still issues security patches for Android 12 as well.
It could be much worse. At least BOOX issues updates….
