I miss Flash games on browsers. Limewire. YouTube before influencers.

This is where I’m at too. This was my most favorite app in Android back when I used to use Reddit. Gave up on Reddit because Sync wasn’t allowed. I think it’s worth the price for the effort that LJ Dawson put into the app.
But to each their own.
1gb for $80.
I’m a chemist, so I’d just tell them that I’m an alchemist.
Love the new logo, but especially LOVE the option to change upvote and downvote colors!
Loving it dude!
I like Lemmy for what Reddit isn’t anymore, which is that it allows for great 3rd party apps to be used for it and they don’t force you to use some shitty official version of the website that might have or use.
But people are delusional if they think that Lemmy will be a bastion of freedom and hope and will be entirely different from Reddit. But that’s not entirely a good or bad thing. It’s a thing that has really good things with the bad things.
We should be realistic and not have unfair hope that this will be a perfect place. I like it here because they don’t force me to browse their content in one specific way. I do wish there were overall more people here so that there’s no content drought and empty posts.
Glad to see you’re back, LJ, hopefully things are going ok in life for ya.
These pigeons clearly follow Bird Law to the T. That’s why they left.
App still works well and is the most polished Lemmy app out there. I’ve been with Sync for so many years so I’m not ready to call it quits on this app just yet. Hopefully LJ Dawson is ok and will return sooner than later.
It doesn’t answer me if I ask, “Are you a real AI?” Hah
“Pizza and Ninja lessons.”
Always going to be Dillon or Apollo Creed to me!
Ever since Sundar Pichai took over as CEO, Google has just gotten boring as a company, overall, and has forgotten or discontinued its products more than actually innovate like they used to.
I like Corsair products. My weighted mouse has been perfect for the last 4ish years for gaming.
The finality of Rogue One, Order 66, Luke looking into the double sunset, and Luke choosing to not kill his father after defeating him even though the emperor wants him to.
I have a Fossil Gen 6 and didn’t get any such update.
They had it so easy but didn’t realize that that’s not the norm at all. They still expect the same to happen now. As if one can work through college and pay off all debts, or if just going to college meant landing a job, or even if you landed a job it would do little more than just make you live paycheck to paycheck.
There’s no meaning to life. It’s a scam of an idea that we all fall prey to. Instead, think of it as just creating new meaning to it every single day depending on what you think and do. It’s a liberating feeling, to be honest. Because now you don’t have to stress yourself out to figure out some grand meaning [that doesn’t exist] and inevitably failing and being depressed over that.
Google Tasks. Love that it syncs to Google Calendar.
