“How does your network availability compare with your expectations”
Raspberry pi4 Docker:- gluetun(qBit, prowlarr, flaresolverr), tailscale(jellyfin, jellyseerr, mealie), rad/read/sonarr, pi-hole, unbound, portainer, watchtower.
Raspberry pi3 Docker:- pi-hole, unbound, portainer.
“How does your network availability compare with your expectations”
I use Mullvad and have a qbit go through gluetun. I don’t mind the lack of port forwarding, as I leave the Pi on 24/7 and I’m not under ratio constraints. Also, my system isn’t secure enough for me to be messing with that stuff, next build I’ll get everything off root, set proper permissions, route everything through a single port etc, then think about port forwarding. For now I’ll hide behind my ISP and Mullvad’s security while I learn and make mistakes.
Down is quick enough for me and Up is slow but constant.
When I get tired of trends I take it as signal to get off social media for a bit. Lemmy’ll still be here when I get back, I scroll too much as it is.
Salsicca, which I think translates to Sausage. Sausage is a good name.
Music is my main media and I pay Deezer specifically to recommend me stuff.
For games, I’m on an emulation streak, so top X listicles. Mostly, I’m racking my brain for things I thought were interesting but never played/didn’t finish/want to experience again.
For TV and movies (and new games), I care a lot less about and I mean a lot less, so word of mouth. If all my colleagues, family, and friends are raving about the new hotness I’ll find out.
In my day the punchline to this joke was
Polo: the one with the whole… Shit
Personally I group them into sets of 3 by release I.e. books 1-3, books 4-6… Each set is consistent with the others in its set, but the quality decreases as the sets go on. Which is alright because the first trilogy is amazing and the final trilogy is fine.
More than anything, I really enjoyed the found family in The Expanse and that’s what pulled me through the series. I get actual homesick for the Rosinante after finishing a book. As for the writing, everything is “said” by characters if that’s any indication, I primarily consumed them as audiobooks so maybe that’s why it was so jarring,
Generally, I would definitely recommend the first three, would probably recommend the second three, and after that inertia will either pull you through or not.
That’s what we call in the industry “foreshadowing”.
You’re not a train, you don’t have to announce your departure.
I love audiobooks. They’re easy to fit into found time, mostly as bed time reading, I just set it going and fall asleep. It’s a win-win, if I’m constantly re-reading the same chapter it’s because I’m getting lots of sleep. If I can’t sleep, at least I’m getting through the book.
Reading a physical/e book means I’m awake with energy and willingness to do something, sure I could read, but I could be doing something else. I read a lot more as a kid, but I also had fewer responsibilities. Also less access to motorcycles, games consoles, bars etc.
That was me, I was raised Mormon so I had a lot of common sense that turned out to be unquestioned prejudice. Not a defence of who I was though, I was a prick.
I have the RG35XX + 128GB Sandisc SD card + GarlicOS + Best set go. As a toe in the water set up it’s awesome, 4 stops to have damn near everything PS1 and before worth playing, all for under a hund. Just add your few nostalgia hits that are missing and you’re done, like Worms hello?
I picked it over the Miyoo Mini Plus because it was cheaper on the day. They seem much of a muchness, for the most part the USP of either is meh to me, though I did use the mini hdmi for some level/life shenanigans once… I think I would have been happy with whichever one I got.
It certainly has its quirks with the menu button, I never tried analogue stick games with an external controller, because I’ve tonnes of games to get through before I think about Ape Escape.
My preferred handheld is the only one I’ve got: RG35XX, the only thing, I play a lot of, that it struggles with is Future Cop LAPD.
I’ll eventually upgrade when a relatively flawless PS2 device hits my relatively low budget, or I get a Steam Deck. Until then I have other money sinks.
Favourite game - 1, it was the first one I played and the one I’m most familiar with.
Least is 3, it was the first game I encountered with day 1 dlc, so didn’t get any. Last ME game I bought too, Jokes on me I guess because I got the remaster instead.
I enjoyed KOTOR/II before it and I was hoping for more of the same, more HK-47 really. No HK but the play is familiar: go to a planet do some quests, X person wants to talk and on to the next.
Femshep is the only shep for me.
