I usually grab my blanket and have it around me as I work in my home office, saves on heating bills during the winter. So there technically isn’t anything to make usually.

Mr. Du Bois, I insist you sit in the chair before we continue our discussion
They are called mother bee in Estonian.
Fair enough, that’s a sense you build up over time with some plunder, or at least it was for me.
If you wanna try Sims 4 I’m using Sims 4 updater by anadius, that gets everything you need and keeps everything up to date (while having less of a footprint than Origin).
I have exactly the same issues with Sims 3. My PC is pretty much as powerful as it’s gonna get but Sims 3 with all the performance tweaks and mods just won’t run properly, it’s downright unplayable. Too bad it’s my favourite Sims.
Does anyone actually buy the Sims games? Like the full game costs a fortune, just sail the high seas, EA shouldn’t get a cent.
Google has been unusable in English for at least 2 years now. Searching in Estonian makes Google behave like it did when it was still good. I wonder how long that’s going to last.
Eastern Europe would be a yes. I know Germany is super anal about copyright but dunno about the rest of the EU.
A relative in their 80s with a dumb phone is the average usecase for me.
It also includes calls and Internet. Also I have never sent more than 50 SMS messages per month so I guess I haven’t ever cared, most of my communication is either Signal, WhatsApp or Discord. On average it’s probably like 3 sms’ per month though.
I guess I always though it was pretty cheap since I never ran out of data or anything, I don’t think I could send 500 SMS messages if I tried.
They are expensive? I pay 10 euros a month and that includes 500 SMS messages and 100 MMS ones along with call time and Internet that I have never exceeded so I haven’t checked how much it is.
Estonia sometimes gives out honorary citizenship for some stuff and if it was up to me one would go to Snowden. I have doubts that Russia would let him go at this point though.
If he had citizenship in a EU country he would be safe. EU countries don’t extradite EU citizens to the US. It would be a whole can of political worms to not extradite a US citizen to the US.
Oh, yea, the Ukrain military has a bit of a nazi problem but the time to deal with that is not when you are being invaded. Also the nazi talking point is mostly a red herring anyways since the nazi problem in Russia is magnitudes worse and isn’t limited to their military.
So it’s technically not wrong but tankies don’t really have a problem with nazies, otherwise they wouldn’t be defending Russia, they are anti USA and will side with anything that’s even close to that side with no regards to any other belief. I’m not a fan of the US either but I’m not going to blindly support anything against it either.
Some alien life definitely exists, the universe is a pretty big place after all. There is also zero chance they have come to earth. Such conspiracies need too many people to keep silent and if the US had known about aliens Trump would have tweeted about it.
Nazi and fascist have different meanings in Russia. They mean people working against the interests of Russia, it originates from the USSR. For example the gay community was labeled fascist during the soviet occupation here.
Like complaining about attacks on LGBT people while supporting Russia and the USSR seems just the most hypocritical thing I can think of. Does he not know Stalin mandated a 5 year minimum forced labor sentence in Siberia for being gay and Russia today is only mildly better for LGBT people.
I have had my comment removed and/or banned from the ml worldnews for “misinformation” for debunking Russian propaganda with sources.
Yea, I have gotten comments removed and banned several times from lemmy.ml for disagreeing with literal and easily disproven Russian propaganda. You don’t even need to be pro anything, just disagreeing with Russia does it.
This and just not accepting a “no” have been the most common responses in my long lifetime.
Though during the soviet occupation there were also way too many cases of them reporting you to the soviets for some “corrective rape” and/or a trip to siberia because clearly you would be gay if you weren’t interested but that’s thankfully not a thing anymore.
There’s a reason women avoid just outright saying no even if all men wouldn’t react this way: The ones that do make it dangerous.
