  • Yeah I’ve noticed this in ESO as well. I’ve been playing since the beta and people have constantly complained that the endgame content was too easy. Cue some cycles of power creep where your character can get progressively more powerful with better gear followed by more difficult dungeons, and now there is content that the average player just can’t do anymore without min/maxing. I was in a Vet dungeon with three other experienced players and couldn’t complete it after around 7 hours worth of attempts, and our gear/setup was good and we understood the mechanics of the bosses.

There’s no way that Meemaw who picked up this game to casually play as a cute Khajiit and questing would be able to beat it.

There’s also the distance between our eyes, the mirror, and the length of the car that we drive that also play an important subconscious role in determining depth perception of the cars in our FOV behind us. This is something you just can’t replicate with a camera as it is fixed in one location that you’re not accustomed to.

We get used to this feeling quickly, even when driving rental cars that aren’t our own. Then our brain adapts to it and we’re all good.

About a decade ago, Logitech had this awesome mouse with a freewheel spinning middle mouse button. It allowed for a long spin after release and was excellent for up and down scrolling on a large page. Sadly they don’t seem to be made anymore. They were really fun.
