So, a massive antibiotic cocktail run and then implant some faeces from a happy normal person and you’re cured. Easy peasy.

I’m very much not an apple fan boi, but this is interesting. Maybe someone can develop a square FOSS variant with replaceable batteries and a parallel port on the side?
Yes, but how many knows that you can break them in half so that the opening is split in two. Then sort of wedge it onto your finger and shoot them at unsuspecting siblings?
We got cans of beans and sausage in the army. The cans where from the back end of the food reserve so about 30 years old. We had been on manouver for about a month, it was -30C, we where on very little sleep and food was about the only thing that kept you going.
I still couldn’t eat those. Completely inedible. All the other cans were ok to eat. Some were even good at the time. Not the beans. I like beans, but that image gave me flashbacks. Vile stuff. Don’t post it again, please?
My thoughts exactly. God-tier talents, both of them. But if you got #2 you don’t really need to steal. I would use #3 to undress. Easily saves 5-10 seconds at bedtime. Or become the naked burglar of course.
As a Swede, I can confirm what Joakim wrote. Pretty much the same deal here. General pirating isn’t a big deal really and is usually pretty safe to discuss in an informal setting. It’s like speeding. It’s really common, but maybe don’t brag about it? Oh, don’t do much speeding in Finland. Joakim will tell you why. 😀
I completely understand and support the decision to cut the ties, even if it is unfortunate that it should be necessary. This is a nice instance and I hope it can stay that way, even for the mods. I have no idea how much work and perseverance it takes to run something like this but I know I couldn’t do it. If the people running Beehaw say that it is too much to handle, then we should believe them. Without them, this would not be the nice place it is. I’m on Sopuli myself, but I like the vibe here and would hate to see it destroyed by trolls. Just my two cents. Cheers.
See you there. I laughed way too much at that.
Exactly where I’m at as well. Maybe I’ll move to Arch proper down the line, but I see no real advantage with that, for me anyway.
When I was a biomed, I used to handle setup for audio/video in the OR for conferences and education and that sort of thing. It was always sound that was the hardest to get working and sounding good. Video was seldom the problem. You would think that sound is old tech and should therefore be easier, but noo. Well, the face masks on the surgeons didn’t help either.
Good to hear. Keep it up!
As a hobby it’s probably fine. You shouldn’t let it consume you or it will turn you into Gollum and you will likely self-immolate when touched by the evil rays from the great fire in the sky.
I pretty much had to. Burned out completely. Took years to even think about working again. But enough about me, what’s up with you these days? :D
Right, your question. First BioMed at a hospital and then tech service for analytics and automation. See my answers elswere in the thread as well.
I see what you mean. I can enjoy making smaller scripts and programs to run some electronics projects but going back as a full time Dev would totally suck the fun out of it. And besides, my skills are seriously out-of-date anyway, not to mention 90% forgotten.
Using Jerboa to post this and I have definitely made editors that had similar quirks in the past.
I saw a documentary of a dude who moved to Alaska and built a hut and lived there for basically the rest of his life. Think he moved up there in like 1930-50 or something. He filmed his life as well. But not everyone will have the skills to do something like that. Inspiring stuff though.
Edit: don’t try and find it, though. It is too powerful for mere mortals.
Coming from a job where dev work feels like vacation. Sheesh. Good on you, man.
Edit: if you are a man. Shouldn’t assume really.
No, you don’t actually have to be a biomed to work as one in Sweden. I have engineering background and I guess I’m pretty technical overall. I actually didn’t know there were biomeds at hospitals. I got sort of a test employment through a government program and they liked me so I got to stay.
Yeah. Don’t burn yourself out on the job. No one will thank you for it. It can be hard, I still have problems saying no. Go figure.
No, you are wrong. The bomb is always where you click. Source: playing the game.
