Weeding out the spon-con is very difficult depending on the product. I was looking at solar generators a year ago and gave up with youtube because every single reviewer was provided the product they were using for free to review.

I am an evangelist for these. I have a set of the aftershokz and I wear them like a watch, always on my head. I do a lot of work in different kinds of factories, forges, power plants, etc which are all places earplugs are required. No big deal with bone conducting headphones, I can listen to my podcasts while I work. A bonus too is the kind I ended up with can connect to two phones, so my work phone and personal phone don’t need two different headsets. The only downside is when I have to take a flight somwhere they aren’t really loud enough to fight the sound of the plane so you have to wear earplugs. But the upshot is people generally leave you alone if yer wearing earplugs which is nice. I grab handfuls of them from our customers anyways so it’s double not a big deal.

It’s like the idea that the whole world can be powered solely by wind and solar. That is absurd. Sure we can completely phase out fossil but jfc diversity is a necessity and putting ALL the eggs in the wind and solar basket is not a great idea.

Also nobody should ever own a car ever. Everything should be some form of bike. Firetrucks? Nope, Bike. The trucks that deliver groceries to the store? Bike. People who live in Northern Minnesota who live a 2 hour drive from that grocery store? I don’t care if it’s minus 8 out get those little bitch legs peddling.
