  • weird dude who writes raw HTML

Eyy, that’s me! Good excercise to learn actual HTML, instead of directly trying to jump into <insert random JS framework> and getting confused on what’s what.

Anyway, I ended up switching to Hugo as a static site generator, because it was too damn hard to keep all my <header>, <nav> and <main> aligned for all my HTML files.

Now I can just write a markdown file as an article, or switch back to raw HTML if I so need (like rewriting Alan Turing’s paper " On computable numbers" in HTML because I can’t use TTS on the PDFs I found; I still haven’t finished writing it, because I am now reading E. F. Codd’s papers on the Relational Model, which is pretty wild how we already figured that shit out in the 1970s!)

Placing the bland Michael Burnham centrepoint isn’t something ST did before. The doc was fine, his partner nonsensicle, the redhead was ANNOYING and I’ve forgotten the rest - no, I don’t really care to spend too much time doing research - I just want to fucking vent. Nor did earlier ST FINALLY introduce another, possibly interesting character (the Freeza looking one) to IMMEDIATELY kill her off. My gods, I was fucking pissed. Then that one episode where a bomb was going to go off and someone had to be “left behind” or some stupid shit? There was NO reason to do that. And don’t get me fucking started on the LENS FLARE! THAT’S THE MOST UNSTARTREK THING I’VE EVER SEEN!

At least the customes looked pretty cool.

  • Because Edge broke JSON files - I couldn’t search through an open JSON file anymore, because Edge decided to only partially load the file.

That’s nice and all, but stop fucking with my plain text. If I want to fuck with it, I can use my extensions, WHICH THEY DISABLED/BLOCKED…

So yeah, back to Firefox, and it’s been fine.
