Especially this week.
Especially this week.
Same.
Of course, the first phrase I made absolutely certain I could rattle off was “excuse me I don’t speak French well”. Deliver that with a smile and they can be pretty damn forgiving.
A lot of the law related words are from French derivations AFAIK?
Yeah, those legal terms have been more-or-less common to any romance language I’ve used.
The only one I use is Safeway, to scan the in-store coupons. I’m not sure how much info they can get, because the app fails to load until I pause my VPN.
In addition to weight, there’s cost. They would have to be integrated into the design, not just normal, flat solar panels, so there’s a significant cost increase. It’s no problem on a delivery van, but anything curvy is probably prohibitively expensive to develop and produce.
Casually dropping Basque into your comment: +1
Another thing, OP, I don’t know what your definition of wild camping is, but keep it legal. The last thing you want is to have a ranger, police, or property owner show up to roust you in the middle of the night.
Look into camping permits and regulations, or just stay at a car camping site to begin with.
I don’t know if it’ll hit everything, and my use case is significantly different to yours, but Tuxedo is a pretty attractive option to me. I do want a serious dgpu, so my shopping list is very different to yours. Nonetheless, the keyboard and ports look good to me.
Alcohol used to wreck my sleep. I’d come home, dog-tired at 7 PM, have a few (and a few more) drinks, look up and 6 hours had passed.
I ended up burning out, and having to quit both booze and weed. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. Along with all the obvious health, psychological and financial benefits, I sleep amazingly well now.
Over the past few months, we’ve been accelerating our ability to execute outstandingly, make faster decisions, and realize our multi-product ambitions.
Barf.
I was going to edit my other response but I’ll just make a new one so OP sees it.
Calum Raasay , out of Scotland, makes some outstanding historo-scientific videos. He travels around quite a bit too.
Another that I haven’t seen mentioned is Our Own Devices , he actually used to write for Simon Whistler. Most of his videos are shot in-studio, like Technology Connections and Joe Scott, but he also ventures out into the field for special projects. It’s a similar mix to what you’d see on Forgotten Weapons.
That’s a persistent itch.
Here are two channels I think Tom’s viewers would appreciate.
Alexis Dahl makes interesting videos on history, science and life in Michigan.
The Tim Traveller makes ridiculous, yet strangely informative videos about locations all over Europe.
Both channels consistently provide answers to questions I hadn’t thought to ask. Both do it with a genuine sense of wonder and a lot of heart.
I think the first time I saw him was when he covered as a guest for Tom?
Size, material, color, cut, weave (weight, texture, pattern), appliqué.
That would be my hierarchy of clothing qualities. If I’m shopping for clothes, any one of those variables could tank an item, but I’m generally going to work left-to-right.
I guess that would be the ideal, but in reality, color and appliqué are the first things I see, so those can be a quick sorting strategy.
Mid 40’s by birth
I shit-canned about 20 years with active alcoholism, but then made a fairly good showing in the following 15, I’d say I’m probably 10 years behind. Thankfully, my current job has a real pension, rather than a defined-contribution plan. I should be ok, assuming the city is.
I just made a bunch of Pixel 7 astro shots in the last week.
I’ve found the bright spot in the middle to be consistent enough that I added a mask to my Lightroom preset to cancel it out. I’m not really sure what they were going for there. I suppose it could be some sort of lens or stacking artifact. I just don’t get it. With all the processing they use to make these captures, you’d think they would’ve evened it out themselves. Either way, it’s simple enough to work around.
I’ve always been really impressed by astro mode. I had a 3a before, and even that produced stunning starscapes.
God gave us two hands and 10 fingers. USE DUODECIMAL, PEOPLE
Pains me to say it, but Cody’s Lab.
I still catch an episode now and again. It just hasn’t been the same since he moved to Nevada.
