Version 2 came with Windows 7. Version 5 comes with Windows 10 (and I think 11). V7 is the latest but being cross-platform doesn’t come with some of the Windows-specific modules built into v5.

I know I’m a heretic but I’m a huge powershell fan. Once you work with an object-oriented shell you’ll wonder why you’ve dealt with parsing text for so long. Works great on Linux, MacOS and Windows, it’s open source, reads and writes csv, json and xml natively, native web and rest service support, built-in support for remote computing and parallel processing and extensive libraries for just about anything you can think of. It takes a little getting used to but it’s worth it.

In several states the coroner is also the only authority that can arrest the governor as well. Very strange system.

I suspect i might be the winner here. My friend had an alley behind his house along with a nice strip of open land near a busy road. Eventually a strip mall was built and then another large commercial building started to go up. Being basically behind my friends house we walked over to this new building on weekend to check out the construction site.

The building was being built with cement block and had lots of scaffolding and yet-unused block scattered around. I found a pipe-bender - a very heavy tool made out of high quality steel - and found you could just tap on of these cement blocks and it would shatter to pieces. I was fascinated, as were my friends. I have no idea how many cement blocks we destroyed over the next couple of days, but it was a huge number. Then we decided to see if we could go through a wall with the pipe bender… we could indeed, making a hole in the side of the building we could walk through. Looking around we eventually realized what we’d done was awful… we had decimated this construction site. We finally slinked away and come Monday when the crew returned, police were called and neighbors interrogated but thankfully with privacy fences all around, none of the neighbors saw anything. 11 and 12 yr olds are stupid.

The 7 Countries Study, upon which the hypothesis that saturated fat causes heart disease was based, has been proven to be highly flawed and misleading. Ancel Keys intentionally left out the data from many countries that contradicted his claims. During the last 20 years many studies have come out showing there’s no correlation between saturated fat and heart disease, and pretty weak association between high LDL and heart disease. Obesity, insulin resistance and systemic inflamation are much higher predictors. And there’s a lot of information to suggest seed oils - canola and soy bean oils especially - are quite harmful.

That’s not steroids… that guy literally injected oil - synthol - into his muscles to make them look ridiculously large. It’s not performance enhancing in any way.

Tried some strong vinegar but that didn’t work. I’ll have to see if I can find some lye and try that.

We do have a water softener. I might look into the pod/softener thing but we were using Cascade pods and now using Cascade detergent for the most part, though we also use Finish as well, depending what’s on sale, etc.

Whatever the case I’m not going back to pods. I’ve kept some of the filmed glasses but can’t find anything to get it off so they look awful.

My wife started buying and using name brand pods for some reason and after about a year we started noticing a film build up on the glasses. Clear glasses made it very noticeable but it’s not noticeable on solid color dishes. Finally occurred to me maybe it’s the pods… we switched back to basic detergent and add rinse agent to the dispenser and now a year later new, identical glasses we bought still show no film.

Wish i could figure out how to get the existing film off our old glasses.

I’m using sync and see ads despite having recently setup pihole with its default blocking list. If you’re also using pihole, mind sharing which block lists you use?

It’s still a crap-ton of calories, at least the way I eat it. I’ve proven you can gain weight on keto. It’s harder but snacking on PB all day is one way to get enough calories to do it.

You said fuck you to those who refuse to stow under the front seat. I’m telling you why. It’s the only way I can stretch my legs out a bit, having my feet under the seat in front of me. My backpack goes in the overhead bin and obviously doesn’t take nearly as much room as a full-size carry-on. Might get 2 or 3 backpacks in the same space. Some people think because my backpack could go under the seat in front of me I should be obligated to put it there. Some demand a stewardess help them find the backpack owners and get them moved so they can put their suitcase overhead. No, screw that… check your suitcase. I checked mine, you can check yours. I’m not making myself more cramped because you wanted to save $40.

I’d love to know the percentage of the population who thinks this is hideous. Why women do this to their lips is beyond comprehension for me. Presumably it’s to make themselves more attractive but I’ve never heard anyone that thinks it is more attractive.

Regarding your stow under the seat comment… I’m a tall dude. I’m cramped enough as is so I’m not putting crap under the seat in front of me as it’s the only place I can stretch out. I also check my suitcase virtually everytime.

I do however bring on a carry-on relatively small backpack with my laptop. I put it in the overhead bin… not under the seat. I don’t feel guilty at all. All the other people bringing the biggest ass suitcase possible, along with a backpack and maybe a purse too… they’re the ones hogging space, not me with my one backpack in overhead. Seats are crammed enough. You wanna be angry, be mad at the airlines making seats so small and being bag charge crazy.

Except you’re wrong. Service charges are not considered tips under FLSA rules within the US. Many states and local jurisdictions have special rules for tipped wages, how they’re taxed and those taxes are collected, and service charges are not included in that definition.
