It’s post like this that Lemmy needs that just make my day because I learn just a bit more than what I knew 5 minutes ago, thank you for the thoughtful post.
Just a happy Fedora Gnome Linux user & metalcore music lover. Drop Acid, Not Bombs!

Sorry I’m out of the loop, but just searched it. Looks like Sync is $2/month or $17/year, is that the pricing people were upset about or? Because that hardly seems like anything to bulk at, but I don’t know the whole situation either.
Only managed to pick up about 8 water bottle types, and about 2 small trash bags worth of random debris, rubber, ropes/lines, and for the love of all that is holy why do people smash glass bottles, like come on! But overall getting dirty helped make my area just a tiny bit cleaner for a little while and I can’t complain about that!
I don’t know if I’ll commit as hard and long as you, but nonetheless you have inspired me to walk out this evening with a trash bag to go pick up some litter. Captain Planet would be so proud of us.
Flutter eh? Does that mean you’re using Ubuntu to develop this? If so, far out man 👍

“In February 2001, an Alien Tort Claims Act claim was filed in U.S. federal court on behalf of concentration camp survivors against IBM. The suit accused IBM of allegedly providing the punched card technology that facilitated the Holocaust, and for covering up German IBM subsidiary Dehomag’s activities.”
Sadly, a majority of the lawsuits brought up against IBM in connection with it’s dark past get dropped.
Just don’t go telling the whole internet where to watch movies for free! 😅
Strange New Worlds Season 1 was great. Haven’t yet had the time yet to watch Season 2 but it looks just as good so far. Still haven’t started the final season of Picard yet, but I’m assuming you liked that one too? I thought it was good for a limited run series.
Does this mean we’ve hit critical mass now? ;)
is it just me or is a lot of what a see are Linux/tech users mostly on lemmy, perhaps that could be why some niche communities haven’t blossomed here yet. I’m really big into metalcore music, but so far, there really isn’t the same type of community that rivals the Reddit metalcore version.

Looks like the upgrade is done and was a quick and easy success, thank you Devs!
Hey I watched this video when it came out a year ago, and honestly don’t remember a single thing about it, other than I had already “liked” the video. Damn my brain needs an oil change…
Nothing for iOS I take it?
I guess Lemmy is mostly tech nerds like myself, but it’s still cool as hell to see another Fedora user around :)
