Look out! He’s going postal!
Huh, didn’t realize we already made it to the era of SHODAN
Oh they totally don’t lol. I adore their campiness.
Fast fun :)
I guess the reason I bring this up is because Just Cause feels uniquely, gloriously pointless to me.
I love 'em. Just Cause 3 practically has Gmod in it’s DNA. But at the same time, I’m strangely aware of the loop.
Dear god, every copy of Skyrim is personalized XD I still do see the courier show up for me every now and again
BOTW’s is not my favorite of the series, but damn is it perfect for the game it’s in. The music pairs BEAUTIFULLY with the world.
Gonna have to say this in no specific order because it’s too hard to pick true favorites:
-Assassin’s Creed 2
-Xenoblade Chronicles
-Pizza Tower
-Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (or… any Zelda game but damn Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess are so damn memorable)
-Metal Slug 5
-Yakuza 0
And a lot more that I’m spacing right now.
Edit: BLASPHEMOUS!! That game has a beautiful, haunting soundtrack.
Excellent suggestions all around in the comments! I own all of these XD There is one that wasn’t mentioned that I would highly recommend. Dread Templar is a good one.
The disrespect that the average person gets from corporations these days is fucking unbelievable. This current thing with reddit is something especially BS. ALL of the work in the various subreddits were done by the community, supported by third-party apps ALSO built by the community.
I remember seeing that you get a few days early access if you pre-order. Dear lord, playing a PRE-day one Bethesda RPG? Forget buggy, it’ll be a pile of writhing polygons on the floor.
I like Lemmy a lot! I’m gonna stick around :)
Very true! For some reason, Lego Batman really clicks with me even more so than others for some reason. I never did figure out why, nor does it bother me. I’m just happy to play silly lego gaem :)
Lego Batman, the first one. God, I love that game. I just feel so cozy when I play it.
Ooooh, I have plenty! Years of modding have resulted in soooo many excellent choices, my personal favorites are: JK’s Skyrim - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6289 Gives so much more life and detail to all the cities.
Northern Roads - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/77530 A somewhat newer mod that really caught my eye. An overhaul of ALL of the main roads in Skyrim, changing the road material and adding props and details all around.
Sekiro Combat S - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/79206 This mod adds a Sekiro-styled parry effect to melee blocking. A lightweight mod that can be added on it’s own to add some flavor to Skyrim’s somewhat bland melee combat.
Signature Equipment - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16190 Weapons and armor slowly get better the more they’re used in combat. A simple one, but I end up getting attached to my gear, so something like this just gives more tales to tell!
High Level Enemies Redux - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32801 Adds tons of new enemy variants and scaling enemies. I love seeking out strong enemies and skyrim’s difficulty kind of tanks after a certain point. This mod fixes that! Plus, this mod in tandem with the Sekiro Combat mod gives a real reason to learn to parry!
Quick-time events but SPECIFICALLY the ones that give you way too little time to react. Like, I never mind them too much, especially the ones in the Yakuza series, but I remember there was this game on the Wii called Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings that would throw these inputs WAYY too fast at you.
They shopped until they dropped
