I am ok with ads personally as long as it is context based ads with no data collections. So If I visit a tech website, I get tech ads. I understand running these servers cost money. Either you pay or ads. Currently, the issue is privacy.

Always been like this
Upvote here to doubt
This feels like an ad, I use premium and they should give us the option to hide it
No worries👍. I think I will just delete mine as I am too lazy to change the link
I just posted about this like one hour ago😅
I know most people here are chads using Signal. Where I am though, government agencies and companies use WhatsApp, and you really have to use it whether you like it or not.
What’s up with this place being too pro socialism.
Windows 11
Just looked that up , basically around $500 USD. Would be really good if true.
Makes sense as the whole industry is slowing down. Foldables are the only thing that’s exciting
I just find the same price to be a bit steep but get that it serves a niche
I personally use Google photos as well
Memmy
Btw I love the name Memmy for Lemmy😂
Hot take I like it a bit, but it is pushed hard. It is nice to have an option for AI not through MS. It is not great for privacy but I far far trust them than MS. It is the lesser of two evils. Sometimes you just want an answer instead of clicking one thousand links. I think the first time you use it they should you give the option to have it on and off isntead of forcing it.
