How deep does this rabbit-hole go?!

I don’t think bottom is a valid value for the position property either.

Apparently whatever you’re using doesn’t have letters in it, so I assume it also doesn’t have words, since those tend to be made of letters. I’m fine with this. You can do whatever the voices and crystals are telling you.
The Taliban’s methods of warfare, in and of themselves, don’t even meet criterion A for a PTSD diagnosis. The man wouldn’t necessarily have to be in combat to meet that, but it’s a lot more likely if he did (which, by all evidence I’ve seen, he didn’t).
Being paranoid is not PTSD.
Do you have any evidence of the “war veteran” part of this, or literally anything to indicate that he has PTSD besides your own assertion that he “probably” has it? The only thing I can find is that he was in Afghanistan but never saw any combat. Are there things in Afghanistan that could cause PTSD? Sure. Is there any evidence that he has PTSD? Not that I’ve seen.
You know who probably does have massive PTSD? The cuffed guy in the back that was almost executed by two cops because one of them was so effing stupid that he thought he’d been shot by an acorn. He did not “react accordingly.” He reacted like a trigger-happy moron. The only useful part of this is that he’s resigned.
Now that is definitely an unpopular opinion.
I think I’ll always choose to believe that they chose that company name because they knew they’d be leaving shit all over the sidewalk in every city they were in.
Hey at least I didn’t miss it in the options somewhere. Fingers and toes crossed for soon.
Is there a way to collapse comment threads on it I’m missing? I’ve been loving some of its other features (like being the only one I’ve found that stretches when I turn my iPad lengthwise).
I find that having a really shit take on something tends to get even passive people talking, but I worry about the long-term effects of generating conversation that way.
…I do speak the language in one of the two, but thanks for the shitty assumption. That it’s more jarring for me between two states is my own subjective opinion. It’s almost like there’s more to culture than language.
I’m probably just approaching this wrong overall. I think it’d be interesting to see more non-US posts in places like world news, and it’s not that hard for me to run non-English posts through a translator to get the gist of them.
This is probably a terrible place to express it, and I’m probably being obtuse, but I want to see that in addition to posts like this complaint. I would read that. I would upvote that.
At the risk of digging myself an ever deeper hole, then…why complain? I wouldn’t ask, but I see this complaint like every few weeks or so. If it literally can’t be a thing because of how Europe is, why blame America?
We do enough like real stupid shit people can be mad at us about. This one doesn’t seem like it’s on us.
Yeah I don’t know any Americans that don’t do this. Like I get it, I don’t like us either, but going from Colorado to Texas is more jarring to me than going from France to Germany.
Possible I missed something, but nothing I see in the world news rules about posting in languages that aren’t English. My (admittedly small) point is that nothing prevents Europeans dominating these spaces apart apparent apathy and disinterest.
Google tells me there’s like 332 million people in the US and like 750 million in Europe. I get that they’re different countries, but different states here might as well be.
Are there posts Europeans make that I’m just not seeing (beyond complaints like this one), or is there something else that keeps them from posting and upvoting the content they apparently want to see in places like world news?
Probably why they said “usually.”
Maybe it’s just the hardware I’ve tried to use it on but it always seemed to take too long for me in 10, too (haven’t used 11). Whether trackpad gesture or win+tab, it’s just always seemed sluggish compared to other options.
