Agreed. I’m eating a lot more vegetarian meals recently but ainly because it’s cheaper and I enjoy cooking vegetarian, particularly Indian dishes but eggs are a great source of protein and there are so many options available to source them humanely. I’ve connected with a local farmer who has hens kept in really good conditions and I get eggs from him. I admire the principles of vegetarianism and veganism but can’t fucking stand those who get on their horse and preach unsolicited.

Run it under hot water and use a scrub brush to wipe away the food. Never use soap with a cast iron as it will absorb the flavours of whatever you put in it over time. You can even but then pre seasoned.

Hell yes! I love my cast iron. Frying eggs in it is a breeze and cleanup is so fucking easy.
