Yeah and I think those diets have reasonable limited appeal, but they’re clearly not snake oil. They demonstrably do something
Keto diets demonstrably work for some people.
In short, it’s shit. Way below usual Bethesda quality. Their engine is patently not up to the task of representing their game ideas. It’s a pity because there is some good stuff there. But not the main quest. It’s genuinely awful. I gave up the game when I discovered what the main quest was, it’s that stupid
The Dutch have been working on this for ages : https://lightyear.one/
When I worked as a PM that’s what I used to do - daily check in about any obstacles that I could clear. Took me a little while to get around everyone but it didn’t waste everyone’s time

BS comparison
It’s slow if your server is slow but fair point about a CLI
I think the tldr; of what you said is that even when you have a theoretical handle on the growth function, you still need to actually benchmark anyway
That’s fair, it’s very configurable so I guess you can do that badly
Manager lead process is often bad process, for sure
I’ve done Telephony, Games and I’m currently working in a high performance context. 99% of the time, you don’t need to be thinking about Big O
There’s a lot of software engineering that doesn’t require understanding Big O
The earliest one I bought was an Amiga 500 which I still think is one of the greatest machines of all time. I loved the community - really creative. I also own a ZX81 which was the first machine I ever did any programming on
