I like RawTherapee for this as well. It’s been a while since I tried Darktable tho, maybe I should give it another chance.
I used to run links.dartboard.social, but decided it was too much work for a single user instance.
I microblog at @knova@lostcreek.social.

Could you make the text color blend into the frames more? It’s still legible even when I zoom in
Exactly. Childhood Star Trek for me was pre Voyager, for the most part - so the Borg were still the big bad enemy “out there”.
Same. Don’t remember much about the plot other than the premise. Maybe time to revisit it. Wonder if it’s still at my dad’s house 🤔
I wanna say this is the basis of one of the paperback books I had as a kid, couldn’t tell you the name. But basically someone coopts the Doomsday machine, I think its an El-Aurian, as revenge for the Borg assimilating their people. And then they basically go on a Borg destroying rampage?
Edit - this book https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Vendetta
Love that game.
I love flatpaks
I’m doing information assurance / GRC stuff at the moment. Not sure what the end goal is.
I think I might just need to soak it all in. I’m not particularly great at stuff like HackTheBox at the moment, but I’m sure that can be changed with more practice.
I think I was hoping for something like what plex-debrid is for those services. But I guess if I get that setup correctly, I wouldnt need any other site.
Wondering how I can best spend my time in a vast universe of infosec knowledge.
I feel like a lot of learning websites are geared towards pentesting, because it is a very active / immediate skillset - if you do things right, you’ll get a flag.txt or something. I guess I’m just looking for something that isn’t just watching videos or plugging away at Jeopardy style learning (HtB, Try Hack Me). But I’m also a bit directionless at the moment - there’s so much to learn and I don’t know which way to go.
Edit: decided to peruse some of the older topics for immediate gratification, came across your great guide here - https://shellsharks.com/getting-into-information-security - problem is I do a lot of this stuff already. I think I need to figure out my own direction.
The R4 was the pinnacle of my gaming career. I had so much fun with that. I don’t think anything has come close to scratching the itch the same way. I think it meant a lot to me, too, because I got the DS for free (online, long story) and paid for the R4 chip with money from my first job.
I know its a meme, but anytime I see Gowron, I always think about how he isn’t a main character but boy does he have a very interesting arc.
This is cool to see. I tried my hand at running an instance most of last year but threw in the towel this past January. It was just me and 1-2 other active users and none of this software is wide spread enough to have a good solid support community. I really appreciate the people out there dedicating their time and other resources to making this work. (Truthfully, I didn’t put a ton of thought into how and where I was hosting my instance before inviting others to sign up, which is on me, and I think is what ultimately came back to haunt me down the line - my GoToSocial instance is much healthier, for example)
