I unlock my 1Password vault(s) with fingerprint, so it’s much more useful than just logging into the laptop. which at work I log into many more times a day than once or twice.
For an account like this, who cares? It’s a one way flow of PSA type announcements anyway, not like Biden or his team would engage.
If I want to start a discussion about one of those posts, I’d do it on lemmy somewhere I suppose.
Idk what you mean by this but both Waterpik and floss are interdental cleaners performing the same job. They have very subtle differences but ADA says either is fine as long as you’re doing one of them.
Huh? Does that mean $2k/month is your cap for what anyone should ever need/want? It just seems incredibly low to me so I’m confused.
I think shuttering it would have saved more of his credibility than whatever the fuck this is he’s doing.
This is our chance everyone, let’s show Buzzfeed that Lemmy is the new place to farm content!
Oh gotcha, I was working around it without even realizing it by going to the community and finding the post at the top 🤦♂️
Doesn’t this already work with proper links? E.g this link works fine for me in a Voyager and my standard mobile browser too: !polls@reddthat.com
Feature, not a bug.
America has a similar setup except our hoses don’t attach to the valves, we have to hold them. And if they do attach, there’s usually a squeeze valve we have to squeeze near the tire to ‘open’ the hose and allow air in. America’s setup seems designed to keep you near the tire.
I have filled a lot of tires and I cannot think of a single time where I had appropriate equipment to inflate the tire from any position that wasn’t right in front of it.
Only things I miss in Avelon at this point are more sorting options for Home feed and a not full black dark mode. Voyager solves both of those for me so that’s where I’ve mostly been.
It’s cluttered, especially the comments. Instead of using the existing ‘up arrow/comment count’ (to the right of usernames) as a vote button (like almost every other app has done), they added 3 net-new buttons to the lower right of every single comment for upvote/downvote/reply.
Because America and NTSC use instead of PAL would be my guess.
Memmy was on track for a while but imo their user interface is awful in comparison to Apollo. I’d highly recommend checking out Voyager if you liked Apollo’s interface, its almost a 1:1 copy
I’ve been loving Voyager myself but I’d also recommend giving Avelon and Lemmios a shot too.
idk why this is correct, but it is.
I mean, you should ask @mark@programming.dev where they got those bullet points, I didn’t see them in OPs post about bird marketing either.
I took their post to be insinuating that those negatives all come with large masses of people joining a platform but ultimately I don’t know if there was enough context in the post to know.
This has been my experience as well. I went through a few years of taking and enjoying paper notes, but at a certain point I realized that without the ability to search my notes, I’m not getting as much value as I could otherwise. That with the addition of digital being more conveniently always with me has led me there.
That being said, there are so many options with apps and systems for digital management that the simplicity of just grabbing a piece of paper and writing still sounds enticing sometimes, haha.
