high rise strip malls with conveyor belts. ala Jetsons. my robovac has a lot to learn

the installers moved it back a foot because engineering drew it where the retaining wall is. yard debris plugs drain grates with heavy rain. shit happens . clean up or swim to your car ¯_(ツ)_/¯
syntax error email. thanks bot
!fuckyouinpaticular@lemmy.world have to post if you want to mod. lemmy has context dependent mod tools
it really is comforting to know you can do 99% of stuff you want with PCs without a license from Microsoft. FOSS has its own headaches but at least you don’t have to wade through a PR swamp to fix stupid bugs
reminds me of the DMCA form letters. full of scary empty threats. paid legal dept. earning their keep. mgmt doesn’t realize the freely developed stuff makes their products more desirable when it does a better job than their own software. may they flounder in ignorance
swimming in thoughts and prayers
only when I’m driving
analytics and local logs. apache stats. been years since I cared
it’s complicated
dev’d an online course web app and website for a community college. users/activity was very cyclic. could see the hits going up every Sunday night as students tried to catch up before Monday class. usage normally dropped around weekends/holidays. maybe similar surges depending on time of day.

Imagined that cartoon progressively downloading while I sipped coffee. The image size told the browser how much space to leave for lagging graphics. Text browsers were best over dialup untill mbs speeds arrived. Cable modems eliminated the modem speaker since they were never used for human frequency range
marketing and bean counters drag down every good idea. That and the belief all the world’s problems can be solved in one paragraph. I used to return a 5 second sleep for bad login attempts. Just to slow down the bots trying to brute force a login. video over increasingly cheap bandwidth for a screen the size of a postcard will soon be replaced with a simpler solution. This is progress. another one bites the dust.
my bill has gone up 89%
just a play on words. however, it was amazing to watch people get offended by the slight to ‘hayseed’ types in a public facebook group. This is a few years old comic. looks like a Larson but image search didn’t find much. eh, posted here for kicks. Have thousands of old pics
thanks to instance-wide mod efforts. take the drudgery out of chasing most spammy types. out here getting fat.
