I hate Kai Wynn with a passion. The character is so well written and acted that I had a visceral reaction whenever she made an appearance. Wynn’s manipulation of religion for her own personal gain struck a special nerve with me.
The same actress played an equally despicable character, Nurse Hatchett Ratched, in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
Click the windowing mode icon (far left of the icons in the top right) and switch that bad boy to tiled windowing mode. Tiled windows will feel odd for a couple of days, but once you switch back to free-floating windows you’ll realize why I’m recommending tiled.
Look up the PopOS keyboard shortcuts for moving tiled windows around the desktop and workspaces. It’s a game-changing way to use your computer.
PopOS has been my daily driver for a year. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Ah you think space is your ally? You merely adopted the expanse. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see all four llights until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!
PopOS is already my daily driver. I’m really excited to see System76 put the effort into Cosmic DE.

Tripping across the universe! That’s awesome.
You might develop a begrudging appreciation for root beer.
Hey, thank you! Exactly what I was looking for.
See a doctor. Do it now. Not later. Nobody here will give you accurate medical advice. The underlying causes are diverse. You will not receive worthwhile medical advice without a proper diagnosis.
The Cold War fueled space exploration up to the point political support waned. It would be nice to see another space race to foster competition and technological advancement, hopefully without the Mutually Assured Destruction this time around.
Private industry is going to fill the void of a politically unpopular public space program, which is a shame.
This is a cool community. I never expected so many helpful replies to this. Thank you all.
No wonder the sheets don’t stay on the bed 😂
Always fitted. I think that’s my problem.
I do latch them below the corners. I have a foam mattress topper, so fitted sheets just fit around the mattress. As a result, there isn’t a lot of extra material to go under the mattress.
I learned these straps exist. Going to give it a shot.
I use PopOS as my daily driver on my desktop. The tiling window management is simply the chef’s kiss.
I’m stoked for Cosmic DE, it’s awesome to see further community adoption of System76’s contribution to Linux.
I prefer the existential dread of the original. 😀
