Lol I just remembered Elon’s tweet that led to him firing an Android dev. Who’s doing poorly batched remote procedure calls again? 😂

It’s early stages but the conversations here feel more “high effort”. I think it might also be because of signup approvals which weeds out bots/low effort posters. I do feel the growth pains with the timeouts happening more often but overall content-wise it is quite nice.
I’m using the OnePlus Nord (the first one) and I am still very happy with it.
I used to have a Blackberry Key2 (and the Key1 before that). Those were awesome Android phones too, and much easier to code with using the physical keyboard. I kept the Key2 and use it for when I need to do some typing but don’t want to use the laptop.
I used to own an iPhone (6s was the last one) but I ended up switching because of the Blackberries. I like how I can just install Termux and turn my phone into a device that I can work on. Also Android just seems way ahead in terms of software features with their OS.
Same here - sometimes I fire it up just to do some hunting and fishing
Great recommendation on Euro Truck Simulator. I didn’t think I’d like it either but it is great fun especially for the limited time I have to play games nowadays
I’m thinking about setting up an instance but am worried about costs - can anyone share any information on how much it has cost them so far? Especially the bigger instances, since usage might spike after the Reddit changes kick in, and I’m worried about suddenly getting a huge bill
