I recently switched to Debian and use nix to install / provide the likes of node / python / go for development.

I totally agree regarding making it optional, but I have to say the idea of auto generating alt texts sounds like a really useful application of AI - no one really likes to do that manually yet a significant number of beautiful people rely on it.
Same problem here, my company requires 2FA for remote network access. MS Authenticator requires Google Services on Android which I don’t have - so no home office for me I guess.
To be fair, there are a lot of Flatpacks published by the devs themselves (especially in the Gnome/GTK ecosystem).
IIRC extensions are sadly not a part of stable Gnome Web yet.
Believe it or not, she’s now running a graphics design studio.
My sister and I figured out that we could draw. On the windshield of our neighbours car. Using stones.

An interesting trend graph of the most used distros for gaming and their adoption by users over time.
That’s been my way as well so far. I’d be interested in how logic helps you cope with questions, such as where do we come from?, where do we go?, what is our purpose?. (Not playing devil’s advocate, real interest.)
That’s interesting, how did you come to that?
One could as well argue that it’s crazy to just “wake up” in some place, having no clue about where we come from and where we go. Constructing some “made up fantasy shit” might be a way to cope with that void.
If it’s not your way that’s perfectly fine, but I would still appreciate a respectful discussion.
Thanks! Can you recommend a book / translation?
So your way is more accepting the unknown, than filling it with some sort of believe, if I understand it correctly? I’d say that’s a take on spirituality as well.
Would you mind elaborating on why you think it’s crazy?
How do you come to this conclusion?
Thanks for sharing, I can relate to the desire for comfort and hope you can find it somewhere soon.
Thanks for cleaning up, guys & gals :)
I totally agree. But I increasingly notice that logic and reason, albeit great tools to navigate the world, don’t offer any answers to the “bigger” questions.
What do you find intersting about it?
Yes, you can just go ahead and install nix in your distro to use e.g.
nix-shell
to create a development environment.
