For now, it’s primarily through gift cards, or friends willing to send me fiat, and take Monero. The vast majority, probably like 95% plus of phones in the United States are single sim only. You have to specifically look for a dual sin phone here, and it’s still not all that common.
Anything that is private is going to be used for illegal transactions. That is not Monero’s fault. If you want it to be used for less illegal transactions, then use it for legal transactions yourself. I personally use it to pay for my life insurance, groceries, phone bill, etc. And as far as I’m aware, none of those are illegal transactions.

By “some time” i meant like 10-15 seconds per app. A snapdragon 8 series is nearly instant.
One app I know does not work without Google Play Services is Lyft. It will just crash.
