What kind of scotch did you use? Is it something peaty or not? I don’t know what Bénédictine tastes like, but I’m guessing NOT peaty.

The lock itself is fine. I can do pretty much everything with the zwave once paired. Locking and unlocking are pretty quick and easy. You can setup a few different numbers too (haven’t played with it too much once setup). It has a sensor to detect if the door is open, but it’s pretty slow. Sometimes I can open and close the door before it knows it’s open. More of a door left open sensor.
Our door lock it well aligned, but it’s yours is off I could see it being an issue, but that’s any motorized lock.
Battery life seems pretty good considering we use the lock multiple times a day. Just 4 AA batteries I Believe. It also beeps at you when you lock/unlock before it dies so you have a fair warning.
I have one. You still need the app to setup the lock, which is unfortunate. Once it was setup I just deleted the app.
This is my wife’s favorite cocktail.(Has been for years now)
As an aside. What’s a decent alternative to green chartreuse, since it’s impossible to find?
I’ve been enjoying bazzite!
We do a marathon each Easter weekend. I make a hobbit style feast and we watch over Saturday and Sunday.
I have lawnchair and it supports work profile. At least as far as I know. I can swipe left/right to see my work apps in the app drawer. Not sure if there’s something else.
I’m running 14 beta 2 https://github.com/LawnchairLauncher/lawnchair/releases
I’ve used freetaxusa the last couple of years. If the IRS one isn’t available, then I’d recommend them.
And waste all that precious piss? I’ll just spit
My favorite is from drink shouts (gone a long time). Still might be sweet for your taste, but definitely needs the high proof bourbon to help cut it a little. Biggest difference is the addition of bitters (and the inversion of the liquor as you mentioned).
1.5 oz Amaretto (Luxardo)
.75 oz. High-Proof Bourbon (Knob Creek)
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
2 tsp. Simple Syrup
.5 oz. Egg White, Beaten
2 Dashes Aromatic Bitters (The Bitter Truth)
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker WITHOUT ICE and shake for a few seconds (this is called “dry shaking” and helps the egg whites blend). Then add ice, and shake very thoroughly. Strain into a chilled, ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a Luxardo maraschino cherry.
Sounds delightful! Can’t wait to try it. Thanks for sharing!
So, Google is going to buy it?
Definitely a now and later. I had one a few days ago leftover from Halloween. It did this exactly. Yes, I did eat the paper because why not.
I agree about the controls. I played on PC many times beforehand. They did a decent job of adapting it to the steam deck.
They’ll probably want some money for them instead.
I got Necesse. Plays well on the deck and a good way to pass the time.
It looks like they do have the last word on their website. Maybe I’ll try to get a bottle and see, thanks!
Does anyone have a good replacement for green chartreuse in a cocktail such as this? It’s my wife’s favorite and I’m almost out.
This guy likes to kill Yeunglings.
