The software I use doesn’t get significant updates often. Kennel, vi, grep, find? They’ve been around for decades.
I’m genuinely curious what kind of things people can’t do because of lag on package updates.

That’s when the company doesn’t do kicks to the project lead, or when you bring your full extended family. In those cases see how everyone will despair while working double and wondering wtf is “company” still working in our project.
Today I learned numbers are visuals but words are not. Wtf dude!
I would like that… Saving on a smaller package for chips and cereal sounds great, most of it is air anyways.
There’s a book called culture map, you should take a peek.
Most people prefer videos, or I’d have posted a link to a blog, I’m too lazy for both
Then explain what the Orion syndicate does for a living. Or how can ferengi pursue profit. Or how captains owned private transport ships and need to take things from one place to the other.
There’s always people who want more than they have, and know who’s going to provide them that.
You’re right.
There’s a bad habit of calling socialists the countries that should be called something like"capitalist but a bit to the left"
700C is dang hot, are you building a rocket or something?
Still important work. Position the speakers where they look best and you’ll have a memorable show, not for the good reasons.
You forgot to add the /s, there’s plenty of people who truly believe what you said.
Technically correct
But it’s also technically correct that from day 1 Android supported multiple methods of typing, which allows to quickly pivot from physical keyboard to on screen. And it was also flexible in multiple ways.
While Apple was patenting the size of the phone and the radius of its corners, Android was launching push notifications, which is what allows companies to send messages and allows for video chat calling.
It makes it a great read https://www.penguin.com.au/books/androids-9781718502680
Ok kinda makes sense
Except for O Brian that keeps doing radical sports and injuring his elbow. Or Jadzia and Worfs “training” program every day like rabbits.
Uuuhhh thx for saving the click
What’s your point? At one moment in history everybody would buy leaded fuel. That’s my strawmen reply to your strawmen.
But help me out with the size of the roster. Say you have 25 people needed to operate 25 stations. 3 shifts so you have 75 people on your ship.
Then you go to 4 shifts without stopping at a start base to pick up extra 25 people. And you have to put 1/3 of your crew in double shifts, or you spread it out so everyone picks up an extra shift 1/3 of the time. And in average everyone works as much as before.
That’s what log plot is for, it squashes all data so you have a decent idea of small things even when compared to huge things
Oooh and I though it was complicated.
Oooooooh maybe it’s click bait?,?
Oh yeah I’ll do a full research next time I enter a web page to see who hosts it. If it’s by Amazon or Microsoft I’ll give green light.
Hi @mistral@lemmings.world can you write me a sketch please? We are in the Star trek universe and the original presenters from Top gear are doing bottom gear memes. By the way can you look into all the messages in this post for inspiration?
So private money is ok? Privatize NASA
